Contractor completes first phase of road repairs

The road between Taylor River and Dingford creek is now open for Winter travel. The first phase of repairs have been completed making the road drivable up to Dingford trail head. I would suggest not doing it in a low clearance vehicle as there are several rough and soft spots. The repairs done so far looks very good and held up well to the recent heavy rains. In the Spring, after the snow melts the road repairs will continue, but for now the gate is open and the road is drivable.

Enjoy a getaway in the Snoqualmie Middle Fork Valley, it is scenic and wild country, a place worth preserving for future generations to experience.
