On RSS:

Our now RSS feature gives you almost unlimited customizability. Blog feeds can be subscribed to individually, or by category, and you can also subscribe to the "front page" using http://valleycamp.org/feed/

If you're using an aggregator such as Google Reader you should be able to just add valleycamp.org as a new feed and presto!

On Comments:

Currently we are only allowing comments from registered users. Hopefully this will help us eliminate spam and keep this site clean and safe for your use. We do, however, allow anyone to leave an opinion on a blog post using a set of buttons at the bottom of each post.
