Thrivent Giving Plus Program will come to an end in December 2009. To replace this program it now appears they will allow Thrivent members to direct donations directly to Lutheran organizations they choose to support.

This change will have a great impact on the ministry of Valley Camp since we receive on average around $10,000 per year through the Giving Plus matching program. We are hoping Thrivent brings back a matching program in the future but until then we need your help getting the word out about this change and that we along with most Lutheran sponsored ministries will see a significant loss in donation dollars. Please consider making a donation to Valley Camp and spreading the word about what we do here and what we make available to all Lutherans.
