Trail projects here in camp are in the planning stages for spring. We'll be completing the new nature loop trail, filling in low areas and cleaning up the trail bed. Also planned is repairing or replacing the very old bridge out to the outdoor chapel, cleaning up windfalls on the 1 mile friendship loop trail and creating more signs.
We also plan to build a new trail out to the "super cedar stump" so you can marvel at what was once a huge cedar tree cut down around 1910.
We'd like to involve as many folks as possible in these projects, so if you have a scout troop that needs service hours, a youth group looking for projects or would just like to work alongside some really fun people send us an email and we'll make sure you stay informed on what we are up to out here.
All these improvements create new opportunities for folks of all ages to experience the outdoors.
