Great news for everyone. The DNR has designated 10,273 arces of land that adjoins Valley Camp on our East boundary a Natural Resource Conservation Area.

This action will keep these acres in conservation status and allow a shift in management focus towards scenic wild land preservation instead of resource extraction. It will also allow for more low impact recreation, something all users of the valley will benefit from for years to come.
